San Agustin Church is known to be one of the oldest churches here in the Philippines. Since the Spanish colonizers establish our Roman Catholicism, a place of worship is needed to bring all religious people together. So, churches in the Philippines were made and one of them is San Agustin Church that is located at General Luna St, Manila, Metro Manila. The picture is the present structure of the church and third Augustinian church build in the site. It was rebuild three times due to man-made and natural disasters. It also been recognized by the Philippine government and UNESCO as a historical landmark.

The San Agustin Church structure are made after some of the magnificent temples built by the Augustinians in Mexico. The interior’s atmosphere stated, “both church and monastery symbolize the majesty and equilibrium of a Spanish golden era.”

The interior and design was painted by two Italians. The moldings, rosettes, and panels as three-dimensional carvings, a baroque pulpit with the native pineapple as a motif, the grand pipe organ, and beautiful chandeliers from Paris. It can be a truly remarkable church to attend to.
